I just purchased an Aquatic Fundamental’s aquarium stand and have a damaged/missing part.
What
do I do?
If it is during business hours, you can call our customer service department at 888-627-2601. If not,
simply complete the parts request form detailing the issue you are having and we’ll get the parts
shipped out to you the next business day.

Can I buy direct from Aquatic Fundamentals?
Aquatic Fundamental’s aquarium stands are only sold through retail aquatic and pet stores nationwide
and on-line. If you’re looking for something, call us and we can refer you to a retailer in your area.

I got two left legs with my 1255X aquarium stand. Is that right?
The 1255X (and 1229X) aquarium stand are designed to have common right and left legs. Depending on what holes you use during assembly, the leg will be either a right or left. Pay special attention to the assembly instructions to know which holes to use. If you are unsure, contact us and we'll be glad to help.

Technical Information 
Do I need to drain my tank before I move it or my stand?
Yes. Never attempt to move a tank that contains water. We recommend you also remove any gravel or decorations before you move your tank.

I have a 37 gallon tank. Will your 29 gallon stand support that size of tank?
Each stand we sell is built to hold a specific range of tanks. Every carton is labeled with the LARGEST
size of tank that the stand can safely accommodate. Even though the “footprint” of the tank may be the
same, only use a stand that is specifically listed to work with your size aquarium.

What does the UL certification mean on your core line of “Upright” series stands?
UL is a leader in evaluating the performance of certain products against an accepted standard. Most
people associate UL with electrical components, but their scope goes well beyond that. Our products
are tested to meet UL 14XX standards for Commercial Fixtures. We are the first aquarium stand manufacturer to receive UL certification. This is just another way of us ensuring that our products
exceed expectations for safety and strength.

Is your product made of particle board? How does moisture affect it?
No. Particle board does not do well around moist environments. Our standard line of aquarium furniture uses MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with a powder-coated finish. The finish offers a moisture barrier
to better protect your stand against an accidental spill (vs. paper laminates used by our competition). Regardless of what material your stand is made of, you should always clean up any spills as quickly as possible to minimize the potential for damage to the stand and the finish.
